Old comment

Just stumbled upon an old comment of mine at an ex colleague’s site: Remi’s Calling The Kettle Black.

Almost 10 years later of placing that comment, I feel the worthiest advice is in the ending sentence:

Consistency is a virtue.

It really doesn’t matter if you code1 one way or the other.

Use whatever works best for you and your team to achieve the goal(s). Just remember that consistency sets apart a workable solution from an even better solution. In case of doubt be consistent. If you want to be part of the solution, not the problem ;)
